      hello,

i've made a terrain from a topography survey contour lines and i would like to have the Google Earth Snapshot texture projected to it.

the problem is that it's a big area so the Google Earth Snapshot from geolocation is too small (big pixels when zoomed) so i added more zoomed imagery, it's about 35 faces now.

the problem is that i want to project all of these faces to the terrain, and i don't have a clue how to do this...

if i try to combine the textures to a single texture, i get errors on some of the snapshots, and the final result is also very pixelated...

you can find an example file here:

      Page Not Found

Web word processing, presentations and spreadsheets

      favicon

      (drive.google.com)

      what can i do?

Combining textures resamples the image to keep file size manageable.

You could also composite the image in an image editor to get the result you want. Or source higher-res maps from another source
