Screen recording

Hello
If I want to make record my movements within Sketchup and preferably also record my voice what would be the best way? I downloaded some screen recorders but file-sizes are getting huge. On Sketchucation I often see explanatory recordings (without voice), would also be very interested how this can be done as well. They almost seem like animated Gifs, not sure how its done?

I use Debut by NCH Software and it works great. However I have not tried the audio feature.

Microsoft also have a free screen capture tool called Expression which records for 10mins.

Or on Windows 10 you can just hit Window key + G to record using the game recorder. Haven't tried that though.

I agree. This is what I use for quick videos without sound.

Seems there is also a plugin for video + sound!
