The Pro Effect
-
Each time a new SU version comes available, I've allowed the upgrade to install. And each time the Pro version is included for a 30 day trial period. I'm not a professional, so Make is all (thank you very much) that I require.
Am I imagining things, or do some plugins that work with Make work better with SU Pro? -
Plugins either work or they don't.
Plugins that need pro won't work with Make.
Plugins that work with Make will work the same with Pro. -
Just also give time to ruby coders for update their critic plugins to the new version!

The only time plugins fail to work on Make is when there are boolean operations. Pro solids tools ability are also exposed to ruby devs.
But I'd say 95%+ of plugins are compatible between Pro and Make.

It is possible that some plugins use pro features when available or if not available then either skips the feature or tries to obtain the objective by manually coding. The later method may or may not be completely successful. So from the users point of view the plugin potentially could work better with Pro. However this would be the exception rather than the rule.
