Info for mac users??!!
-
I have been learning Sketchup for a couple of months now and for the first time in my long mac-using life, I'm considering changing to PC....most of the good tutorials out there concentrate on PC and not on mac....and there are some big differences....Specifically, I'm looking for information on how to save my own texture libraries within Sketchup. At the moment I'm importing JPG files from my personal library....and that's fine, but time-consuming. Also, I've just purchased some .skm texture files and can find nothing on how to import them into my texture library on a mac.....I know I'm probably just a newbie who's overlooking the obvious, but any help would be so appreciated....

no need to switch, get free VirtualBox plus a Windows license and you're done.

You need to add them as a collection then save the collection so SketchUp can load them each time it starts.
There's a button in the Materials Browser that allows you to Add or Open as collection.
