      Hi there,
I need some help from you guys regarding a report request from sketchup models. I'm looking for a plugin(or some other simple automated way) of generating a report similar to cutlist1.4's, with the differences that:

      • I want to change the report columns' name and order (name:material:width:length:another_column)
      • The 'mm' (millimeters) text should not appear next to the numbers
      • The 'another_column' should have blank values

Is there a plugin (or more precisely a configurable plugin) to accomplish this task? Bear in mind that it has to put the bigger value to 'length' column and smaller to 'width', like cutlist 1.4 does. Or is there any easy way to modify the cutlist source files (if possible)? I don't know the ruby programming language, so please try to help me in a simple manner

Did you perhaps mean CutList 4.1 (the latest version)? But no matter with respect to your question.

The simplest way to do what you want is probably to tell CutList to save a CSV file and edit that file in a spreadsheet program. CutList does not have configuration for ordering of columns or for suppressing units in the output. CutList is distributed as unencrypted Ruby source, but it is sufficiently complex that I wouldn't suggest you try to modify it if you are not reasonably experienced with Ruby.

In addition to Steve's suggestions, if you turn off displaying units in Model Info>Units, CutList 4.1 will omit the units from the CSV.

Here is a link to a Reporting Plug-in for SketchUp 2016, but I'm afraid only for Windows.

Also see if SU2XL (from Extension Warehouse) will do what you need.
