    I've just downloaded Sketchup 8 and then dowwnlosded the extensions V3.0.1 and instead of getting a Plug in icon I ended up with this error message :
    Error Loading File SketchUcation.rb
    (eval):235:in `require': uninitialized constant SketchupExtension::SCF::FOLDER
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Frank

      Hi Frank, welcome to SketchUcation. I trust you will find this community helpful.

      How to fix the problem, download SketchUp 2016 Make...? Or greater than version 8 for that matter.

      SketchUcation ExtensionStore v3.0.1

      SketchUp 8 is several years old, I don't even know where you could have downloaded it from...

        Unfortunately SketchUp v8 is no longer supported by Trimble, and as a result also not by several extensions which have been upgraded to run on newer versions.
        The Toolset's Usage notes say,
        "...If upgrading, install then restart SketchUp to finalize... <=v8 stick with v2.6...".

        As @juju said, it also says,
        "Dependencies: Use v3.0 >v8, or stick with v2.6... for earlier SketchUp versions..."

        And its compatibility notes do not list v8.

        Also note that v2013 will probably not be supported in the near future...
        So v2016 is recommended...

            Not likely a legitimate source.
