Interior design student - plugin recommendations
-
hi i am a student who is not very tech savvy.I have been using sketchup for a couple of years but want some recommendations on what plugin's would be useful for me to start using. I have downloaded shapebender and clean up3 but wondering if there is a plug in that will mesh the edges of a shape to another one or do a curved surface? I am using it to make furniture and at times am modifying furniture already on the warehouse and it takes me a while. I know that furniture is a component and then grouped but exploding it and making it unique only seems to work some of the time and takes a while.
It would be great to recommend a blog/ youtube clips for furniture making but not really wood working but for learners (ie an idiots guide to get me going). there is so much info on you tube i feel a bit overwhelmed and want to get to most user friendly and useful tutorials.
Many thanks

For organic forms Artisan and SUbD are great.
Plus FFD for manipulations.
