Hi guys, I have three questions and would greatly appreciate it if someone would answer them.

    1. Other than using a video editing software, is there a way to create animation videos from SketchUp so that one scene transitions to another while a different scene goes immediately into the position(camera) of the next scene without the transition.
Eg I want Scene 1 to transition to Scene 2 but I want the scene to cut immediately from Scene 2 to Scene 3 without any transition

    2. I have noticed that when I hide a group that is nested within another group, I am unable to unhide it without having to manually do so in the Outliner window (the Unhide All command doesn't work). Is there a way to truly unhide everything?

    3. Whenever I send an image that I have imported into SketchUp to Layout, the quality of the image is always reduced. I am wondering if there was a solution to this issue.

Camera transitions are global to the model so to achieve what you want you need to create 2 files where File A has 2 scenes with the transition and File B has the scene transition with the Enable Transition feature checked off.

Not without a plugin there isn't.

Is it the viewport resolution or the print resolution?

It's probably both, although I have not tried printing it. What I'm doing is importing maps into SketchUp that do not have a scale in place and creating a scale bar which I then export to Layout to put in annotations.

It seems that other people have had problems with this issue and there is no solution. Importing the image directly into Layout turns out fine but importing the image into SketchUp and then exporting into Layout reduces the image quality. I will have to scale my images in Layout directly or in other software from now on.

Thanks for your help Rich, I appreciate it. All my questions were answered.
