      Using SubD, How do I i add thickness to a curved surface without losing its quad-ness? something like joint push-pull but keeping the quad integrity of the model.

        I'm afraid there is no tool as of yet that does this. I'd recommend you file it as a feature request to QFT: https://bitbucket.org/thomthom/subd/issues/

        It'd be a good addition. Or possibly see if Fredo would be interested in looking into if it could be added easily to his JPP.
