3D "Home Theater" viewers as monitors?

Question for Anyone again, he/she is popular;
I suffer from eye strain as we all do probably. Endless search for the right glasses and screen combinations depending on prescription, ambient light, type of machine/interface it seems.
These virtual reality screens would eliminate all that, no? I'm asking.
