The 3D Font list has always been buggy for Macs but now I can't even get the dropdown menu to be an option to choose fonts, its stuck on some random font. Do I need to clear my preferences in the Application folder?

A screengrab of what the dialog box is showing.

      Here my mac specs:
      Mac Pro Late 2013
      OS Yosemite 10.10.14

      Thanks for any info!

Have you tried a larger size piece of text with a blank model using on of the standard templates? I'm a windows user so can't really suggest anything else. Perhaps disable all the other plugins in case there is a conflict in the code?

        Regards,

Yosemite changed the way osx handles fonts, this compounds many font issues with SU versions prior to v16...

v16 includes a fix for most of the font issues...

if you are actually using v16, then it may be your .plist pointing to that old 'Mavericks' system font that's causing the issue...
