UI.inputbox
-
I'm trying to figure out if I can make the standard inputbox a bit more dynamic. When I select an option for one of my input fields I would like for a default input field for a different field to update with a specific set of default values that are somehow tied to the option selected in the other field. Has anyone ever tried this sort of thing before.

I don't think the UI.inputbox can do such a thing. But you could accomplish it in a WebDialog using javascript.

The UI inputbox is very limited in what it can do, BUT you can easily do the things you speak of by using a webdialog - from very simple to quite complex interactions - e.g. look at the SketchUcation Extensions Manager - that is all done in Ruby, Javascript and webdialogs...

I have "chained" 2 UI.inputbox. First inputbox opens another based on the input from the first box. The first box closes once the second is shown.
