Dongle key rendering V-ray

Quick question: Can I remove dongle while rendering and plug it back in? Or is there possibility that the whole process will crash and I would have to do it all over again?

Do not unplug the dongle while you're rendering. V-Ray will loose the License and most likely drop the render mid way through.
