HELP PLS: Building Light Cache Take Ages (Newbie)
-
Dear Expert,
Hi...I am a newbie in Sketchup and Vray and I am learning a sketchup and vray to create a design. I have a problem when rendering the models. Previously, I have no problem in rendering process and it works fine with good result. However, since yesterday, when I was rendering models, the process of "Building Light Cache" process take ages and stack there...Anyone can help me to solve this issue? Please advise...
Highly appreciate for your help...
Regards,
Zach

2 things it could be
1- light portals - I find if you set rect lights to portal mode, it just kills LC
2- Displaced materials? If you have a lot of displacement in your scene, try to disable it in your globals and see if thats the issue.
