**I'm trying to export my SU models into a game so that I can make a custom city. The problem is that the game requires a single diffuse texture for each entire model.

Is there a way to automatically combine the SU materials before export such that they UV map to one combined texture file instead of a bunch of them?

      Thanks!**

The answer is no. There are a few clues here that will help. http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=323%26amp;t=61371

I would imagine it would be pretty simple to subdivide a texture atlas material into parts in the material editor such that it would tile just those parts over selected faces while maintaining a single material for the model. There's really no way to do that?

It's important to remember that sketchup was never made with game engines in mind. Other programs may offer support for atlasing - from a quick google search, blender has a plugin that will do it http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?303137-Multiple-UV-mapped-models-gt-single-UV-map-texture-atlas

I have worked around this issue before by manually atlassing textures, then UV mapping with some help from various plugins http://sketchucation.com/pluginstore?listtype=1%26amp;author=0%26amp;category=0%26amp;search=uv%26amp;submit=%3F

On another note, I would not recommend sketchup for game-ready modelling, and certainly not for UV-mapping, texturing, etc. Others will disagree, but personally, I use autodesk maya for this sort of project. Still, to each their own.

I heard that Lightup Plugin might help on that. If it's true or not, I wouldn't know...
