Need help URGENTLY plz!Why can't view materials in Sketchup
-
Hi all! I'm a beginner still at sketchup but I've watched some tutorials and I'm figuring things out step by step. However, I scanned the web and still can't seem to figure out why the textures aren't showing on a model I'm working on..the face I apply a texture to will only turn to a solid color of the texture (i.e. instead of brick i get some shade of red).
And yes, SHADED WITH TEXTURES styles view is ON, and what's driving me crazier is that I CAN view textures in all other documents I open, just not this specific one I'm working on. Problem is also apparent in print preview. Thanks in advance
p.s. using sketchup pro 8 on mac.

what is the 'scale' of the model v the 'scale' of the texture...
if you apply a 1inch texture to a one 1 mile face, you'll only see the background color as the texture is tiny...
Right Click a material on a face and Select 'Texture' >> 'Position' to see if it's tiny...

Check your mode...
View > Face Style >
If the 'Shaded With Textures
' option is checked you should see textures, otherwise the other options dictate what is displayed.
Your current Style will affect the display-mode... -
