    Unable to import a texture

      Hi all, I am trying to import a texture. I file/import then I select "use as texture" I then import it either as a jpeg or PNG (with a transparent background) the texture appears but with the little "stop sign' and then the image disappear whatever I do. Can somebody please assist

        It sounds to me as if you haven't got an available face onto which the material can be applied. Although you can paint group/component wrappers with materials, you can't import materials and apply them to wrappers. You must have a face available. If the face you are trying to put the material on is in a group or component, you must open that group or component for editing first.

            Thanks guys, as it worked out I did not have a face ready for the texture......one of those Duh! moments 😳
