    Hi

Recently I have been asked about a problem in SU- how to make small curved pipe our solid with small radius. Looks like its a problem in SU. Native tools "Follow me" does not work. Other plug-ins like "pipe along path" our "convert lines to tubes" have same problem. I have tried to make these and without any success.
What to do? Is there any good plug in, our.....? Please suggest.

Sketchup has trouble creating geometry that small. Simple solution is to scale up your model by 100x, perform the follow me operation, then scale back down.

Thank you for advise. Yes looks like scale back works. I was hoping there is some faster plugin.

I've explained this many times before. Here goes again.

Make a component of the path and the profile before you try to run Follow Me. Use Move/Copy to make a copy of the component. Scale the copy up by 100x or so, open it for editing, run Follow Me, close the component and delete it. Zoom Extents back to the original.

There can also be problems if the profile is too large compared to the segments of the follow me path:
