You can always export a 2D image straight from Sketchup and overlay it on the rendered output. For example if you want to add linework. There's a few tutorials and tips about that if you search this forum.

In other words - no - the styles have no effect on the vray rendering.

If you want to see edges in your VRay renders, you can also add toon materials (VRay materials) in your scenes. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Sounds cool. Where in Vray do I add that and where can I find the material?

You open the VRay Material editor, right click on "Scene materials", then Create material/Toon.

              Enjoy ! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Thanks, but nothing happens. Even tried setting the line width to 300. Strange.

After creating your toon material, did you apply it on objets of your scene ?

When I create the toon material in the scence materials, a material named "default material" will land under the last created material in the scence. It still doesnยดt make anything happen to that material when rendering and I donยดt know how to make it apply to other materials (since it always ends up in the last created only)

OK I made it work. What I had to do also was add base material and then paint the model again with the new material created. Thanks.
