Influenced by Bryan K's vehicles.
-
Yes mate, suspension tubes around the wheel holding the 'hub' in permanent suspended state but having a degree of give for suspension performance.
-
A render with lights and a bit of detail.
-
Not influenced by any particular vehicle really, just the free flow design that you seem to use. I am constrained by my little bit of autism which is accuracy. When I build a model from plans it takes forever just to rationalise the bleeding blueprints most times.
This has no blueprint and is created from scratch with the 'what seems right' philosophy.
Not my normal vehicle at all, unless it is a home made design and even then I have to get the suspension etc 'right'. Which is why I post so few and with my current armour projects even fewer for a while. Hey ho, all good for a giraffe........
-
So far so good.
-
Made easier by not having weapons of any kind, just sensors.
-
Sensor bay installed, no suspension yet I am still not sure what suspension method will be used. Skyhook possibly.
-
Gas turbines installed, two for non consecutive running, failsafe. Plumbed for inlet and cooled outlet which also provides air conditioned electronics bays.
-
Temporary suspension, not happy but it gives me something to work from.
-
Lookin' good.
-
Needs deep-dish chrome rims and racing stripes
Coming along nicely, well done
-
Ta mates, I may miss the chrome wheel rims out but four foot dragster exhausts along the side might be in, along with four foot flames but it is difficult to know when to stop really.
How about a physics model with skittles that look like politicians? Perhaps a game of this sort would catch on. Ten pin bowling like that would make me want to practise enough to strike out every time.............
-
How about a game called "So You Think You Can Legislate", with each politician given two minutes to justify his political performance. The losers would be put in the "Sled to Hell" like in Schwarzenegger's movie "Runner".
It would also solve the unemployment problem -- they would need a lot of workers just to build all the sleds that would be needed.
Now that's a show I would actually watch!
-
THAT could catch on and the syndication fee's alone would bring in millions, wotcha fink? 50/50? Full glorious Technicolor HD, maybe even scratch and sniff...........
-
Hello Mike, no big thing but it would look better if you added a thickness to the "open" edges, especially on the bumpers. Coming along great.
John
-
Thanks John, there is a thickness to those parts, .25". Just not as apparent due to the scale being 1:1.
-
Are you going to show us other views? Would love to see them.
