I have a model I am working on. I add a circle and later decide that I want to change the number of sides or it's diameter. However because the circle cuts other lines on the model I can only select one part of the circle at a time. If I use shift key or make it a component or group I am not able to edit its side total or size. How can I keep the circle a single entity in my project?
      Thanks.

Make it inside [or later make it into] a group or component - which will separate its geometry.
But remember that once any arc has been linked to other splitting or 3d geometry you can't change the original arc/circle's properties.

But when it's in a component I can't change a circle's properties either. Whether it's in a component or not I don't see how you can later alter it's properties.

Using "Edit Component" you "open" the component, modify the circle, then "close" the component.
