Well Pete, you have always been a great inspiration, and mentor to a lot of us on SketchUcation. I for one always take notice of your posts, and always appreciate it when you post renderings.
A question:
Is the sand in the 3rd rendering modeled or post pro?
Great to see your work. -
Top shelf as always Solo... I think 4 is my fav.

Great to see your work. That is all modeled, I created the material by overlapping three materials I found online and used Artisan to sculpt shape.

Absolutely real

A master at work. Great stuff Pete.

Thanks guys, it certainly has been a while since I posted images, I'll try posting more often if possible.
Playing again, this time I was testing Thea grass proxy's, I have 7 different grasses here using the Fur plugin to distribute., would love a paint brush option to paint proxy's if possible in SU like what is available in Thea studio.

That stone is more impressive than the grass... care to show the geometry of it? is that all bump or are they high poly?

A bit of both, good materials, bump and high poly.

Oh yeah... But a method to the madness I see. They look fantastic. Perhaps the best stone I've ever seen come out of sketchup. I'm surprised the geometry is that uniform.
