      Hello there.
I'm new to sketchUcation and this is my very first post.
After fiddling with Sketchup Pro 2014 for quite a while,
I still don't get how to make something like in the pictures attached.

Can someone please explain to me the steps to make something like this?
I tried sandbox and curviloft and it still doesn't feel right.

I apologize if this topic was already dealt with; I couldn't find it using the search function.

      This is the actual SKP.

Perseverance would be the main thing.

        Trial and error the next

Just give it a go and see what you come up with

It looks like the modeler used "quads". In SU that's all rectangular surfaces made up of two triangles--if I have this correct. Others like Rich have more knowledge on the particulars. AFAIK it helps keep geometry clean in organic modeling for form and texturing.
