      Hi!

I'm trying it for a while now, but it's not working:

I modelled a yoghurt cup and now I want to place a label on its side. How do I get this done so the label fits exactly?

      Best wishes!

        You UV unwrap the cup.

Thank you for your answer. But I don't know, how to do that.

            Try YouTube.

            Search for unwrapping in Blender

I'm not using blender. Is there no other - more simple way - to do, what I want?

                turn on hidden geometry

                paint a face

the use ALT+Paint to sample that face then paint next face

                It's basic SketchUp stuff.

Or use a plugin to Cylindrically map the cup.

Or upload cup and texture and I'll do it for you
