Plugins Compatability Pro8 -> Pro 2014
-
I have a lot of plugins from various authors installed along with Sketchup Pro 8 - does anyone have experience with the use of the LibFredo6, Artisan,SimLab plugins, and stuff like Curvizard, Stock Maker, Joint Push/Pull, Goldilocks and other SU8-compatible plugins, with 2013 or 2014? Am thinking about upgrading but want to develop some idea as to whether the plugins will work reliably with the new version.

Please go and obnoxiously amuse yourself somewhere else.

This topic has been covered repeatedly on the forums since SU2014 was released. I will repeat what has been written many times. Do not copy plugins from your previous SketchUp installation to SketchUp 2014. Download and install the latest versions. Many plugins/extensions required updating due to the change to Ruby 2.0 with the release of SU2014.

Thanks, Dave. I tried searching the site first as I figured it must be a question addressed before, but obviously I didn't write the search properly.

If your idea of time well-spent is cruising fora for the purpose of rendering judgment over which questions suggest to you whether someone else should have ticked one profile box versus another, you apparently have way too much time on your hands.
And why you believe that anyone else cares about your perception where that's concerned, is a mystery that I'm content to leave un-solved.
Please don't respond to any further threads of mine. You may have plenty of time to waste posting useless BS, but I don't really have time to waste, reading it.

See Dave's post below.

Here are two threads that refer to it. I stopped looking after that but I know there are many more because I've written the same advice many time.

Removed due to pointless humour.

Thanks Dave - appreciate your taking the time.

My apologies, and fear not I'll never darken your threads again.
