Quads in SU is easy once u adopt the strategy.
AutoSmooth helps a lot. So does vertex tools.

Yeah because I'm making sure my model contains 100% quads before subd and almost 100% quads after subdivision and even then they are actually triangles when I export it. Even if the model is symmetrical, the triangles are not. I wouldn't even be bothered if the triangles were somehow symmetrical along the mirror line! I always have to remesh my SU export. Can you perform isotropic surface remesh in blender? now that's how you'd get a perfect voronoi or snakeskin every time!

takes about 2mins to do on less complex forms
haven't tried more complex forms yet once i do i'll let u know

We should compare notes some time....can do it quite easily on really complex forms with meshlab now. I would literally pay for an undo button though.
