The layers panel doesn't show when I click the layer manager icon or when I go to Window/Layers. This has not been a problem until recently. Other panels show fine. I've restarted, rebooted, and that doesn't help. I've checked other SU files, and they have the same problem. I opened a new file and drew a simple cube on the 0 layer. The layer drop-down shows layers exist, carried over from another project, I assume. But, even so, layers panel isn't showing. I'm attaching the file with the cube. I'm curious if this behavior shows up on someone's else computer, or is a problem with my computer or possibly corrupted SU software.

I see it here on my end.......perhaps it is "off screen" (are you using more than one monitor?)

EDIT: I assumed what you are calling the layer "panel"....is the layer window. (correct?)

Sorry I cannot be of more help.....I have heard of this happening before (window off screen)
I just don't recall the method of re-setting it's location.(assuming this is your situ.)

Do you or have you used more than one display? Very likely the window is there and it is pushed off to one side or the other. You can try Reset Workspace under Window>Preferences. That will probably fix it. If not, the Registry can be edited but that should be a last resort.
