      Hi,

Recently I tried to install my V-ray 1.49 in the new SU 2014, but the SU did not recognized
      the plug-in.

Has anyone had success when trying to install Vray 1.49 in SketchUp 2014?
      It's compatible?

      Thanks.

I don't believe it is compatible. Sorry.

Trimble changed the version of Ruby that is used in SketchUp 2014, and as a result, our 1.49.01 product is not going to work. We have a service release for our 2.0 build that will address compatibility, but unfortunately we were unable to add support for SketchUp 2014 for our 1.49.01 build.

            Hi andybot and Devin,

            Thanks for reply.
Maybe it's time to upgrade my v-ray version...πŸ˜‰

I loaded up 1.49.01 a couple of days ago, to check for compatibility and upgrade issues that might be present in the 2.0 service release... It was a very sad experience... If you're not upgraded yet, you are DEFINITELY missing out. I had forgotten just how slow that version was in comparison to 2.0. I highly recommend you grab a demo from our site and give it a spin, if you haven't done so already. You won't believe the difference between the two versions.

Put a bullet in 1.49 man. It was great for it's time but it's a bit of a turd in comparison to 2.0.
