      Hi

I have just installed a couple of plugins. Then I tried to open a file, but got his message (picture)? I have no idea why I get this.

      I installed:

      Fredo6_RoundCorner - v2.6a - 27 Nov 13
      Mirror_v4.1

      Please help

It doesn't matter who created it, if the file is already open and you try to open it again you will get this message. It is nothing to do with sketchup or its plugins, it is a computer thing. If you tried to open the same word file twice you will get the same message.

I have not run into this this case recently but it can be caused by the way the windows file manager works. Application do not have direct access to the memory but only virtual memory and the manger operates some what like a DMA interface. When a app asks for memory it attempts to give it ASAP in chunks called working sets, usually not all requested is given in totola at once. When a program is closed the manager is in no rush to get the allocated memory back. So if you close a file and then quickly re-open the manager may not have completed the relinquishment of the memory and you can get the sited error.
I have not seen this for some time. Have not look in windows systeminternals for some time may be changed for >= XP x86

Thanks for your input. It seems if one open the file in "read only" mode and then save it under another name - the problem is solved? mac1, you may be right (I am not too strong in memory computer knowhow), anyway I am pretty happy, I can work again πŸ˜„
