Banked curves on a slide

Cool one Jeff. (Does Rhino do that rendering too?) I imagined this was a water slide that could go on forever. Yes, your shape would accommodate the more desirable high speeds!

i want to build the U version a lot bigger now and use it for skateboarding

that's actually a display mode which can be used for visually checking surface continuity (or- that's a screenshot. not a rendering)..
i just used it in this case as it's quick way to show metal.. but you can draw real-time with the surfaces looking like that which will show how changes affect the smoothness via the visual cue of reflections. -
Wow, I didn't expect so much replays, thanks for that. I tried curviloft and shapebender/fredoscale.
They worked both pretty well, so I tried to make a rollercoaster with a corkscrew which looks alot better then all of my other attempts ^^

that looks cool.. glad you picked up some tips in the midst of the off topic stuff.

Nice job. It's going to be a wild ride!
Thanks for the note Jeff. Looking forward to seeing a skate park with "THE SLIDE". Call it "Slide Park". Wish I had the time and smarts to learn Rhino. Looks fun.
