I bought the G602 - it just didn't feel right and I went back to my Logitech MX Revolution. The G602 is just gathering dust now.

        Thanks for the feedback, Alan.

Shortly after posting I was in a store where the G602 was on sale and I almost bought it. But they didn't have any on display, only in the package... so I was reluctant to pull the trigger without getting a feel for it. Maybe a good thing that I held off.

The MX Master looks interesting —especially the horizontal scroll— though it seems a bit big for my hand. Wish the MX Evolution was still available, but it was replaced by the less-loved Performance MX.

Guess I have some more considering to do before deciding.

I use the Rat 7 and have for a few years... very configurable... Love it. I also have the Space Mouse Pro.

Okay, that is the craziest mouse I have ever seen. Mouse meets Gyro Gearloose (showing my age here) or perhaps mouse meets Terminator.

I have a wired Razer Naga. It's a great programmable mouse. I use it for all kinds of apps, not just gaming. Here is the wired/wireless Naga

It is, but awesome... adjustable length, thumb and pinky rests, weights and already heavy, modes for up to like 30 configs and then there is the up to 5000 dpi adjustable. Even comes with option palm, pinky and thumb wrests. was like $80 I think?

for my vote, it's the Logitech Performance MX
comfy and configurable. I won't use anything else.. (had the MX revolution until it's battery pack died.. when my Perfomance dies, I'll goto the MX Master....)

I had the revolution myself but didn't like the performance. It was somehow the same, but everything was slightly different wich made me feel awkward. The m705 is even better than the revolution. No battery recharge, reactive, all buttons configurable, cheaper, very easy to travel with yet large enough for desktop and confortable. It might not be the case for people with bigger hands than mine... for me it's perfect.
