I selected the arcs then selected the lined face thingy on the curviloft menu. As advertised I got just what I had wanted. But when I move the cursor to anything, the program has a sketchy kinda crash complete with requesting my email. I am using 2013 version. How can I fix this?

Is it possible you've installed one or more of the plugins known to cause conflicts with other plugins? SketchyPhysics is one of the notorious ones. The Vray beta plugin has been problematic, too. If so, you might try disabling them and try running the Curviloft again.

It would be helpful if you posted the SKP file of the curves you're trying to loft so we can see what you've got. Maybe there's something wrong with them.

I appreciate the attention you have given to this problem. I am thinking that I might have run out of RAM on this computer. I am posting the .skp file. Being new, I may have downloaded curviloft more than once, but I am too ignorant to know where to look for duplicates and know not is this could even be a problem.
I am able to make the surface, but when my cursor goes below the toolbar into the design zone, the program crashes. If I keep the cursor in the toolbar area, the surface remains. When I try to save it, the program crashes, and what I save is only the .skp file rails (posted below) without the surface.

These are the rails referred to in text

I'm not quite sure what sort of shape you're expecting out of those curves but Curviloft made one for me without any problem. I did do two things that you probably didn't. I divided the straight line into 12 segments and welded them together (the same number as the arcs in front of and behind it) and then I started the tool before selecting the curves in succession. You can preselect the curves before starting the tool but the results were different than shown.

Perhaps you are running into a memory issue but I still wonder if you have some troublemaker plugin installed. You could test that by removing all plugins but Curviloft and Lib_Fredo6 from the Plugins folder and trying the curves again. The easiest way to do that is to rename the Plugins folder, make a new Plugins folder and install Curviloft and Lib_Fredo6 in it. Then start SketchUp and see what happens. If it works then you can figure that one of the other plugins you've got is behind the crashes.
