Working on an imported cad model.
When I try to push a window through a wall, the wall come with it.
      All walls are parallel.
Cad file is reduced to one layer Even if I start a new model on layer0 I still get the same . Sometimes the holes go through sometimes not.
I'm using windows v7 pro and windows 8.1.
      Any ideas from anyone?
      regards,

Without seeing the SKP file, it is hard to say exactly but I can think of three common reasons. First, the lines defining the window do not form a closed loop. This is extremely common in imported CAD files. Or the loop for the window isn't actually on the surface of the wall. This is also not uncommon with CAD files. Another is that the loop hasn't been intersected with the larger face. Trace one edge with the Line tool and then try selecting the face inside. If you are able to select the face inside without selecting the outside, you've solved it.

You could post the SKP file so we can see just what is going on and give you a definitive answer.

In menu View > check 'Hidden Geometry' to be certain that the window loop (its outer four edges) does not have any hidden line connections (due to importing the CAD file) with the surrounding geometry. They don't affect the Push/Pull tool but you say that you are dragging the entire wall (side?) with the window. So this sounds strange with applying the P/P tool. It's more of an indication that opposite faces may not be completely parallel
