Hey guys I was wondering can you give me any interesting tutorials about modeling? I’m into vehicle designs – cars, tanks, helicopters, airplanes etc. I looked in the Tutorials thread and YouTube but most of the tutorials there deal with the architectural aspects of SketchUP.

You just need to do an appropriate search...

Thanks for the links! I have watched all of those videos in the past. I learned a lot about low polygon modeling from them. But since I visited the 3D Warehouse, I started asking myself “What were the learning sources of all those amazing vehicle modelers?” .I searched for vehicle modeling tutorials in Google, but I didn’t find much. That is why I decided to open this thread, in case I’m missing something important

You are missing something important, most of the good cars in the Warehouse are not made with SKetchup, they are imported from games or they are made with other 3d softwares.
Since SDS and later Artisan appeared I am anything else but low polygon modeling, especially with cars . http://sketchucation.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=333&t=42397

Anyway, don't think Artisan would do wonders if you don't know how to make a clean,well proportioned model.
