Incredible.
Yes, looks like the place had a nice vacuuming before you took the photo.
-
Nowadays you can use one of these anyway...

Good job !

Thanks.
-
neat and clean renders, nicely done Massimo...
-
Thanks Victor.
-
I somehow missed these.. these are beautiful and really impressive with all of that white.
I have not ventured past the Interior Medium setting.. I'd be interested to see quality differences across the settings.
-
Yes massimo, the specular to the ceramic it looks great. What does it look like?
-
Incredible! Any chance you'd share the mirror mat.pack?
-
very impressive rendering indeed . I wonder how much time each render takes.
Thea has been taking great leaps!@stefanq said:
WOW! Thea is brilliant in the right hands!
V-ray....be afraid....I have seen lots of Thea renders that are impressive really. If I havent seen the
best of vray (at least in max, which VFSU is trying to catch up ) I 'd have switched. One of these days, I'll try Thea

Thanks again guys.
@ marked001: I've tried some region renders with high preset and the differences were slight. Maybe I'll try a comparison.
@ Oli: I made the textures of the floor & the long slabs starting from images downloaded on this site. The maps were made with PS + Bricks'n'tiles + Pixplant.
The long slabs are modeled and have two slightly different textures applied, while the floor has just normal+bump maps.
The structures of the materials are pretty the same. Anyway here are some SS of both materials + a cropped version of the spec maps got from the diffuse maps. Also, as you can see from the SS, I've tuned the maps with Thea's texture tonemapping feature. The floor:
The slabs:
@ Gubermensch: The rounded mirrors use the basic mirror mat which comes with Thea. The surfaces are modeled with Soap, skin&bubbles plugin in order to give some slight deformation. If you meant the glass-mirror above the sink, here is the mat.

@ cuttingedge: I've posted something about render times here in the thread. -
This is all so far over my head.. .someone really needs to give me a crash course in texture-making!! Awesome stuff, love to hear how the model was built. I was wondering if those slabs were modelled.
-
Here you have a view of the model with a detail on the slabs. Some accesories & furnitures were added directly in Thea.
