Corrupted .skp file

Hey guys !
Well, I have had a bumpy ride today. If I recall well one of my two hard drive disappeared from My Computer and then after few checks and restarts it reappeared. The partition where my files were stored seemed to work slow and these files won't open. I have scanned and checked it and some problems were found in the files. Would you give it a try,please and let me know if there is anything I could do to recover them ?

Yep, same message here. But the second one, the archived one seems to be there but it gives an opening error.

Thanks, Rich! It's a three hours work file. I will have to rebuild it and hopefully come out the same .

no autosave or bak?
now i know why i save several times a day to a new file in time-critical situations...
I had it from time to time that no autosave has been written - i really would like to know why this happens.
i opened both files in notepad and they look completely different... the first one is missing the complete beginning and has many blanks.

The problem comes from my hard disk(I believe) as it went out of power(loose connecter perhaps) and then when I made it to work back this problem occurred with both these files(The folder they are in was open when the hard disk stopped working).
The .skb gives the same error ! The weird thing is that I can see the preview of the large one but it won't open.
