If you happen to be based out of New York or the tri-state area, and would be interested to attend World Maker Faire next weekend (Sept 21-22), chime into this thread. SketchUp is a sponsor and we have some free tickets to dole out!

Good question! Maker Faire NYC is at the New York Hall of Science, 10 am- 7pm on Saturday, Sept 21st, or 10 am - 6 pm on Sunday, Sept 22nd. More info about the event at MakerFaire.com.

I would love to go but being that my job has cut my work week back to only four days a week, I am not able to afford to go. Sorry.

I'm interested.
My child (12 yrs old) is a big Maker Faire fan so we tend to go every year. Last year I felt the fair was a bit inundated with 3D printers - all great but all pretty much the same. Maybe the rage for those things will have passed a bit by now.
