Unable to import jpeg (or any) files

My sketchup has been acting buggy and I can now longer import anything into a skp file. I have done this many times but when I go to import from my desktop now, everything is "greyed out", there are no importable files showing. HELP!

What file-type is set in the bottom drop-down list...
If you have accidentally set it to some other file-type, then png or jpeg files etc don't get listed...

I think I resolved it - I had several "bugsplats" in a row and I think it set the "file types" to only accept skp files. I reset it to "all file types" and restarted and it seems to be functioning again. I'm still having some crash issues, but I think I may just re-install Sketchup. Thank you!

Thanks Tig - I think the file types changed during a bugsplat and I re-set them and it seems to be (mostly) working.
