      Really love your work man.
      A question.
The corner stones on the left building seem recessed and the far left building seems they are protuding.
I did a render where the same thing happened to my texture of a brick wall.
No matter what I did it still stayed that way,
If I moved my eyes left and right it visually corrected.
Wonder is this what's happening here.

        John, outstanding work as usual.

Are homes in this architectural style still being built in the UK? If so,
are they being built in any great number?

        Bob

corner blocks.jpg[/attachment]Thank you and sorry for the late reply but I was unable to connect yesterday.

Beginner, your correct a different sun angle may have given better contrast.
            Thanks again Bryan.
Hello John, I'm not sure of the problem you had with the corner blocks, maybe bump map?.
Here's a closer view of the two houses showing the difference in the stones.

Bob, I will stick my neck on the line and say that most houses here are still built "conservatively" although lately we are seeing a trend towards cedar boards and render. IMHO these look great for a few months then quickly look old and dirty.
Daniel, that's another word I had to look up πŸ˜„

John, just trying to find a new way of saying "looks great." Maybe one day the southerner in me will come out and throw you for a loop.

FYI, the corner blocks are called quoins (pronounced coins).

A superb example of the render artist many of us strive to be, I hope to see a great deal more from yourself and David H for inspiration and motivation.

Stunning work again mate! The foreground shadow on the last image looks like it could be sharper, it is an obvious chop in post pro. However the image has MUCH more punch than the original.

Mind you I think if these deserve any post pro it might be to age them!

Thanks Mike 😳, I would gladly send you any of my models to mess with if it would help you along.
Thanks Richard, the hardest thing for me is to age a model and make it look authentic, over here most aged stone (especially sand stone) is almost black. Maybe I'll play about and see what can be done.
