Are you sure you don't have any 'ad-block' type of add-ons loading for your browser[s]?
How about your Firewall settings ?
Or your Internet settings ?
These can also limit things ?Obviously many thousands of members successfully access the SCF site every day, so there must be something we can get reset at your end to resolve this issue...

No. I turned it off in 2 of the browsers.
Opera Next has no blocker installed.
IE on my computer never had an ad blocker installed either.
Used it for the first time to connect here.Regular Win 8 firewall in place. Not turning that off just to view a forum

I am not suggesting you turn off your firewall!
But some firewall settings can be very strict and limit things unnecessarily.
Also your Internet Control Panel settings [cookies etc] can do the same.Thousands of members manage to use SCF, so it must be possible to resolve this by making some simple/safe adjustments...
Are you an admin on your PC ?

I also have Windows 8 installed and have no issues with displaying ads here. So just trying to stab in the dark: in any of your security settings, try to make sure to enable third party cookies as well. Our ad provider, BuySellAds also uses cookies and when those cookies are blocked, no ads are displayed. Once ads are displayed, you will automatically have access to all download links, too.

If you're on a corporate network, it also could be the case that company firewall restricts the access to the ads.
