Layout has stopped working

I have Layout 3 Pro and using a new win7 x64 machine
layout keeps crashing when I try to insert a model

Maybe it is an administrative rights issue. Win 7 tries to protect itself from outside but that also seems to affect the ability of some programs to do what they need to do. Make sure all users have full rights to the folder where you save your LO files. You'll probably need to edit those rights. Also try running LayOut as administrator and see if that changes anything. If it does, it is surely a permissions issue.

Are you getting to crash reports, and are you sending them in? This looks like Microsoft... are you not getting BugSplat?

I think youre right its a permission problem
our IT have locked down our computer very strickly

BTW, is there a way to have SU plugins in a difference folder than the standard one?

When you've got IT involved, all bets are off.

Yes. It's very good. LayOut has really gained some good stuff. The other thing, though is your Plugins folder can be localized to your user.
