      Hello

I have been scouring the forum and the internet but cannot find an answer. I have downloaded [Plugin Library] LibFredo6 - v4.9b - 19 May 13 as well as curviloft. I have dragged and dropped both entire folders into:
      Macintosh HD/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/plugins

Here is the problem, I cannot find info anywhere on what to do from here....

I have restarted sketchup and the plugins are not there.

Then I tried the preferences/extensions/install extension....find the folder. I am not able to select any of the files in the folders, they are greyed out. I am suspecting it is because they are all .rb not .rbz

This is the first time I have ever tried to put a plugin into my sketch up.

Please can someone advise on how to do this properly, I really cannot understand what is going on

      Thanks in advance

There are several helpful threads to help you understand how installing Plugins work - try this one http://sketchucation.com/resources/tutorials/37-beginner/108-installing-sketchup-plugins
Please reread the Fredo's tool's/Lib download page and ensure that you are correctly making the footprint of the files/subfolders-of-files.
You do NOT 'install' the folders formed by the UN-zipping process [which are usually named after the ZIP itself and are a temporary resting place for the contents, before you more everything 'intact' into the Plugins folder]...
If you diverge from this it can break SketchUp...
If you already have please tidy up the misplaced files etc first...
I also see you are on a MAC... so please check you are using the correct 'plugins' folder ['HD' path NOT 'user']
