This is may seem stupid but here goes.
Is there a way to lock the shift key while selecting.
Sometimes I need to select zillions of faces in a group ( window select not practical)and if by finger fatigue or an error selecting a line outside the group. I have to start all over.

Hoping to hear: "Stupid, just do bla bla."

...but that is for raw geometry.

Maybe Fredo6's Hoverselect? ThomThom's SelectionToys? In Artisan, BrushSelect?

          EDIT: oops, almost simultaneous replies.

I take the slow, deliberate approach in my aimless wandering.
