How to create donation button for your plugins?
-
Hi,
I made a PayPal account and noticed couple of members had donations button but I can't manage to make an image a link.
The following button is using the code above but its not working since when I click it the only url that opens is the image and not the url specified.

I have seen it being done so I must not know how to do it properly.
Cheers!

You mean on this forum?
There is some javascript working here which takes over any action on links - so you cannot make an image into a link any more.
All my cookieware links doesn't work any more either.

Hi,
Thank for your reply...but it seems that if I try your suggestion I receive the following warning message.
You cannot use certain BBCodes: [paypal.]
Any ideas?

That is because using some bbcodes is restricted to certain 'approved sub-groups'...
This is to stop everyone and his dog adding a 'donate' button to each and every one of their posts...
Can I suggest that you PM Gaieus to ask him if you might be added to the 'paypal' button-makers list...
After all you have already successfully added your own donation 'link'...
I think that by now you have 'proved your worth'...
However, if it's considered 'too soon' for your promotion I'm sure that he or one of the mods might add a paypal-button for you... -
Thank you very much TIG!
