Just upgraded to Pro version 2 weeks ago and have been doing tutorials. I think I have a very simple problem, but can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Created a model of piece of furniture in Sketchup. Saved five scenes, then clicked File/Send to Layout. Wonderful. Perspective view now in Layout.
In creating subsequent pages however, the same view keeps showing up.
Here's what I'm doing: In Layout I'm creating new page (plus sign in pages tray). Perspective view from 'Inside Page' shows up. I'm on the newly created page, right click my model, select "Scenes", click on "Plan View".
Instead of just that one page changing, all other pages now change to the new view.
What step am I missing? (Getting elbow and forearm pain, so need to cut down on experimenting:)

Just a quick thought in Layers are you on Every page or Default would depend on what templet you chose when you opened LO. I'm sure others will add to this.

I think that's it! I had made a custom template and several elements were "off". Just went in and did some cleanup...still working on that with the page numbers. My inserted images were definitely on the "Every Page" layer instead of "Default." Now it's working like it should. Thank you!

Keep in mind, you can set any layer to be on all pages or just one page. The toggle is in the right column of the layer control.

            Nadine,
Also note the layers "as listed"(stack) that way on the pages.
            So:
            Layer A (front most)
            Layer B (middle)
            Layer C (back)
Then within each layer you have control to move items on the same layer front to back by rt click...Arrange...Bring to front/send to back..

EDIT: Also note you can change the layer order by draging a selected layer.
            Layer C (front most)
            Layer B (middle)
            Layer A (back)

            Best,
            Charlie
