[REQUEST] Hide texts and annotations when perspective on
-
Hello jewellers,
do you think it is possible?
I use a lot of 2d texts and annotations while working in plan view, but I want to hide them automatically when I orbit and switch from parallel projection to perspective...
Thanks in advance -
BUT if you use layers to control the visibility of text etc then you can simply have two Scene tabs set that does not affect anything except the layers, and have one with the text-layer[s] switched 'off', one with them 'on'. Your scene-tabs can be set to change only certain aspects - e.g. changing layers but leaving the camera as it is...
So if you are in plan with text-layer 'on' clicking the off-tab you switch the text-layer 'off'.
Orbit etc as desired.
Click on a plan-tab to revert back with text-on.
If you want text-on in any view click the on-tab... etc... -
You're right TIG,
to be honest I am always too in a hurry on one hand and too lazy on the other hand to put the texts on the right layer...
I will follow your advice.
Many thanks for the prompt answer and for what you bring to the community!
