Printing in top view yields tiny image
-
I have finally completed my design for my router table and was printing cutlists, different components and dimensions, etc. All worked very well the first few times thru. You know, I can always think of a modification or something slick right after I take the last ream of paper off of the printer.
Anyway, I came back to check dims on my router table top and tried to print it and the drawing came out as a speck on the sheet.
I zoomed. I zigged. I zagged. I vroomed. I did all number of things to work this out. Interestingly the issue is in TOP VIEW only in both Perspective and Two Point Perspective, but NOT in Projection. That is to say when I click on the Top View button and it straightens the picture out flat, the Print Preview and the Print are extremely small, as in 1/4" x 1/4" on an 8-1/2 x 11 sheet.
Now, every other view works just fine. [Hold on, let me verify that.........yes! It is true!]
Now, if I tilt the Top View as little as a half a bubble off (no smart remarks here) it previews and prints fine.
What gives? I have a workaround, but this is screwy because it "just happened". I know. I know...too many episodes of Ghost Hunters.

Set up your top view in Parallel Projection and look at the Print Setup box what boxes are checked? Or give us a screen shot of it.

Dave;
Two screenshots showing the Basic and Advanced settings. The Print Profiles tab is a place to create profiles and I have never used it - all should be at default settings.
Thanks for looking at this.

Are you printing directly from SketchUp? As in File>Print? There should be a dialog box I don't see in your screen shots.

This one?
HAHA!!!! Now I see the issue - I unchecked the "Use Model Extents" box and all is right in the land!
Did you see anything else?
Thanks for the nudges, Dave.

That's what I wanted to see. Looks like you're all set now.
