My Super PC has just arrived and I want to transfer my license from Sketchup Pro for Mac to the PC version. Is this possible?
Wanted to ask before I contact Google. Would be very disappointed if I had to purchase a new license. I cant afford a new one so would be forced to model on the Mac and render on the PC.

Unfortunately it's not as easy as that. You can only do that between two Mac or two PC licenses. They are not compatible however so you need to change your platform for a small (AFAIK $50) fee. See here: http://support.google.com/sketchup/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=105608

Nice setup - although you could have the 4Gb version of this graphic card, too - the difference (in price) should not be that significant.

That rig above was £1300 and £1680 after tax. I will upgrade the RAM but if I had chosen more Ram and a better graphics card it would have pushed over my budget.
Now I have the machine will build upon it.

Just out of curiosity, what was the "Windows Experience Index" number? The fact that I don't have SSDs, always has dragged mine down to the mid 5's. Processor, memory, and graphics are in the high 7's.
I know this is a more or less arbitrary assignment of numbers, but does the SSD, bring your numbers up to the high 7's?

I have windows 8 and SU runs perfectly. To me, it looks like a windows 7 with some UI changes (in favour of touch screens) but nothing too much else.

My number was 8, but I still havent had all the drivers installed and running two 32" Tv's as monitors, not sure how those things can alter the results.
