Making solid 3 intersecting curves
-
Hi, not sure if this is a newbie question but I am trying to model an acoustic guitar and have much of it done. However I am hung up on how to do the 3 intersecting curves that form the bottom of the neck on the guitar. I have included a picture. I have tried Fredo's curviloft but the results are not what is required.
Thanks,
Jacques

@Pilou: il faudrait nous pondre un plugin qui enregistre automatiquement en V6

This is done with Curviloft skinning on 1/2 the profiles. Would that work for you?
I just drew some arcs. I know they aren't the exact curves. I see that you are looking for the actual block piece and not the full transitional shape to the straight part of the neck, but you could cut it afterward.

Jim wrote a plugin that saves as the previous version - it just needs a tweak to do two steps back...
Jim a écrit un plugin qui permet d'économiser de la version précédente - il a juste besoin d'un tweak de faire deux pas en arrière ... -
