Libfredo Round corners plugin and skp 8 for Mac
-
Hello. Glad to be a new member.
I recently upgraded to skp 8 and can no longer find my libfredo "round corners' plugin. Is it gone?
If not where might I find it?
If so I can't seem to find a place to down load the MAc version nor can I find the instructions (I don't remember how I did it before but I remember that it required instructions as it was not intuitive for me anyway.
Thanks for the help! -
If you still have a previous version of SketchUp installed, the plugins are in that version's Plugins folder. The new version doesn't overwrite the older version. So you could copy the contents of the old Plugins folder over to the new one although it would make sense to install fresh to make sure you have the latest versions.
There is no specifically Mac version of the plugin you're after nor of most plugins. You can het the one you're after here and there's a link to LibFredo6 there as well.
Make sure you have full read and write permissions established for the Plugins folder. The path on Mac should be MacIntosh HD/Library/Application Support/Google SketchUp 8/SketchUp/Plugins. Don't install them eleswhere and make sure you wind up with exactly the same file structure as shown in the Plugin's thread.

just to clarify a little on what dave is saying..
there isn't a Mac specific version… the same plugin (same files.. same download.. etc) will work on both windows and mac..
